Sweet Idea: DIY Color Blocked Cocktail Popsicles

I love, and I mean L-O-V-E, coconut rum mixed with lemon-lime soda and pineapple juice. I figured, what better concoction to add to a popsicle than a little splash of the good stuff? I whipped up these beauties last week for Confetti Pop, and they turned out lovely. They're look like a mix between watercolor and color blocking trends. Be still my heart!

Sweet Idea: Vellum Dot Favors

Today was another full day on set to shoot some Confetti Pop projects. If you aren't following me on Instagram, swing over and check out some of the behind-the-scenes pics. It's a mad house with my two kids and Maddy's kid on set. I figured I'd end the day with a little bit of prettiness that didn't involve babies stealing macarons or kids "helping" style the cupcakes. Enjoy!

Hello, huge vellum polka dots! I'm loving both of these favor boxes, but I think the pink is my favorite. What's yours?

Sweet Idea: DIY Animal Popsicles

What kid can resist nibbling a frosty squirrel? I'm an grown up (chronologically, at least) and even I think these A Subtle Revelry yogurt popsicles are too cute to pass up.

National Donut Day! Hurray!

When I say, "Free!" you say, "Donut!"

Me: Free!
You: Donut!

Run, don't walk, to your nearest donut shop and take advantage of National Donut Day goodies. Lots of chains, like Krispie Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts, are giving away free donuts today. I know, it's pretty exciting. This time only comes once a year, and here are a few great donut ideas to keep the holiday alive year round.

My girl, Brittany created this printable Donut garland. Isn't it the cutest?
Jordan whipped up this fun donut party.

If you're really hung ho, go ahead and get a jump on your kid's Halloween costume. I made this one a couple of years ago for the kid.

Featured: DimeInk - Dime Defined

Joy Lee, the editor of DimeInk, interviewed me a few weeks ago. It was fabulous to be included as one of her dimes along with the likes of Justina Blakeney, Erika Hollinshead Ward, and Stevie K. Joy's questions ranged from the silly to the serious, which I loved.
A few of my favorite questions:

What's your favorite candy?
Who would portray you in a movie version of your life, and what songs are on the soundtrack?
Are you the woman your 10 yr old self wanted to be?
What words do you live by?

Check out the rest of the interview here, and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear your answers to any of these questions.

Thanks so much, Joy! You were crazy enough to include me in such a great group of ladies, and I appreciate it.
